WIN AN AUSTIN 7Gti Competition Rules
1. TOKENS
Each day from 3rd to 7th July 2006 an AUSTIN token carrying a number between 1 and 5 will be printed in the DAILY BLAH. The tokens will be printed in sequence.
2. TO ENTER
All five tokens must be securely fastened together and posted in an envelope with the completed entry form to DAILY BLAH Win an Austin 7Gti Competition, 1 Hack Lane, LONDON S99 2AB. Entries must reach this address no later than Friday 28th July 2006. By submitting their entry entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules.
3. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
The winner will be announced in the DAILY BLAH the week commencing 4 September 2006 and the winner will be notified personally as soon as practicable either before or after this.
4. ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to all UK residents of 18 or over, except employees or agents (and any member of the household of such persons) of DAILY BLAH Plc ("the Promoter"), any of its wholly owned subsidiaries or any suppliers connected with the administration of this competition.
5. VALIDITY
There is a limit of one entry per household. To be valid, each entry must contain a complete set of five tokens numbered 1-5. Only original tokens will be considered valid. Photocopies are not acceptable. Entries through agents or third parties will be invalid. Responsibility cannot be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed in transit to the address at Rule 2. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Correspondence will be entered into only at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
6. TO WIN
The winning entry will be that which has enclosed tokens 1-5, has correctly answered the 3 questions in the entry form and in the judges' opinion has completed the tie break by answering the question "Why I should win an Austin 7Gti" in the most witty, apt and amusing way. The panel of judges will contain at least one independent member. Its decision will be final.
If the winner cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by the Promoter, that winner will forego the right to claim the prize and the Promoter will arrange for a replacement winning entry to be selected by the judges.
7. THE PRIZE
The prize will be the AUSTIN 7Gti pictured in this advertisement feature and on display in the DAILY BLAH reception hall between 19th June and 30th July 2006. No warranty is given as to the amount of petrol in the car as of the time of collection by the winner, who will be responsible for road tax and insurance. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion substitute cash value for the prize.
8. WINNER PUBLICITY
Entrants accept that if they win, the Promoter will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use their name, age, town of residence and likeness for the purposes of announcing the winner of this competition and for related promotional purposes.
9. ENTRIES
All entries will become the property of the Promoter Plc on its receipt of them and will not be returned. Entrants hereby assign to the Promoter Plc all worldwide copyright and like rights in their entries and waive all moral rights.
10. WINNING ENTRY DETAILS
The name and country of the winner will be sent to anyone who writes within 3 months after the closing date, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope, to the address in Rule 2 above, requesting details of the winner.
11. YOUR DATA
The Promoter would like to keep entrants informed of DAILY BLAH Plc's products and services by email and/or telephone. Please write to the Circulation Director at DAILY BLAH, Hack Lane, London, S99 2AB if you specifically do not want to receive this information or email us at circulationdirector@dailyblah.co.uk
We will not pass entrants' email addresses outside of DAILY BLAH Plc for marketing purposes but we may from time to time make your name, address and/or telephone details available to carefully screened companies who may use these to contact you about products that they believe may be of interest to you.
