Image rights are recognised and protected in various ways across Europe, but Channel Island Guernsey is the first in Europe to both put image rights on a statutory footing and establish a register of image rights. Some say it could also be a useful tax planning tool, but what’s the point if it only works in Guernsey? Emily Devlin investigates.
